Join our dynamic and rapidly expanding law firm! Our client, a prominent firm specializing in property damage insurance claims, business litigation disputes, and personal injury matters, is seeking a talented and motivated First Party Property or Personal Inury Associate or with 3 years of experience to join our team.

As an integral part of our legal team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside lead attorneys, gaining valuable experience in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. Your role will involve a variety of responsibilities, including gathering, analyzing, and organizing information; drafting legal pleadings, discovery, deposition attendance and summaries, as well as trial preparations and other legal documents.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate effectively with lead attorneys and support staff
  • Conduct client interviews and locate/interview expert witnesses
  • Draft a wide range of legal documents, including discovery, motions, appellate briefs, affidavits, memoranda, and letters
  • Investigate factual information to respond to litigation discovery requests
  • Assist in all phases of case preparation, from discovery to trial
  • Provide trial support and attendance as required
  • Demonstrate professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues, such as attorney-client privileged materials
  • Travel throughout the state as needed to meet business requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a team environment
  • Effective communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills to represent clients in litigation situations

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Current TN Bar License in Good Standing
  • J.D. degree from an accredited law school
  • 3 years of experience in First Party Property damage insurance claims, business litigation disputes, OR personal injury matters (Plaintiff side)
